About Us

Hi, I'm Captain Bryan, and this is my wife Teresa.

I’m an entrepreneur and passionate adventurer with a deep love for the ocean. From 2017 to 2024, Teresa and I lived aboard our sailboat, Come What May.  We sailed more than 40,000 miles and explored all throughout the breathtaking waters of Southeast Alaska.

During our very first voyage through the region, we stopped in Port Frederick for some repairs and we were completely captivated by the beauty and charm of Hoonah.

The incredible wildlife and the warm, welcoming community left such an impression on us that we eventually traded our sailboat for a cozy little cabin in this remote Alaskan town.

These days, I spend my time at Icy Strait Point fishing, exploring, and watching the incredible whales that thrive in these waters. Guiding whale-watching tours isn’t just a job for me—it’s an opportunity to share this unique place and its marine life with others.

Hi, I'm Captain Jaromy.

I’m a true outdoor enthusiast with adventure woven into my DNA. Whether it’s rock climbing, sailing, fishing, snowboarding, scuba diving, or rafting—if it’s outdoors, I’m probably out there doing it.

I started sailing at age 6, and after graduating from college, I moved to San Francisco, bought a 42-foot Catalina sailboat, and made it my floating home. My love for the ocean only grew from there, especially after completing two trans-Pacific voyages aboard Come What May, gaining incredible experience navigating the open seas and have navigated 15,000 miles in open water.

Now, I split my time between Hoonah and adventures around the globe. When I’m here, I share my passion for marine life as a whale-watching guide, bringing my extensive sailing background and deep appreciation for the ocean to every tour.

My energy and love for the sea are infectious, making each trip an unforgettable experience for anyone eager to witness Alaska’s majestic whales up close.
